A century and a half ago, the Champagne label Moët created its famous Imperial vintage in homage to royal customer Napoleon Bonaparte. Today, to commemorate this historical anniversary, Moët et Chandon is organizing a series of events throughout the month of June. For its first, in a bar perched in the heights of the French capital, champagne lovers sampled four cocktails based on the Imperial vintage, all created by the in-house barmen. The drinks came with a breathtaking view of the Arc de Triomphe—a perfect fit, as the very symbol of Paris built at Napoleon’s request.
