From October 23 to November 27, Rupture & Associés and the Templon gallery give Abdelkader Benchamma free rein at the Rupture House. Upon invitation of Anissa Touati and Thomas Erber, the French artist dresses the walls of this Hausmannian apartment with his signature black and white lines. The exhibition, titled ‘Echoes’, offers a total immersion in what reads like a universe oscillating between method and poetry. Here, the works emancipates from the frame to evolve up to the ceiling. With a brush stroke that seems to grow before our eyes, the artist creates galaxies that give way to reverie. Here’s a look back at the exhibition opening held in conjunction with the FIAC’s 47th edition
