Oscar de la Renta is no stranger to the world of perfume. With nearly sixty fragrances in the House’s catalog since 1977, the American brand has made its olfactory signature an essential feature of its identity, just like its ready-to-wear. In October, the House unveiled the latest addition to its fragrance family, ‘Alibi’, embodied by supermodel Irina Shayk. Inspired by the namesake bag, the fragrance is an expression of modern, sensual and emancipated femininity. Designed by the brand’s artistic directors Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, Alibi has just been launched exclusively on the MyOrigines platform, which distributes the biggest luxury beauty brands. Between Paris Fashion Week and FIAC, the launch of Alibi took place in the Oscar de la Renta boutique on Rue de Marignan, with a cocktail party attended by all the friends of the house, including Thomas Canu, Marketing Director of MyOrigines and Oscar de la Renta’s artistic directors.
