Alpha Industries celebrates its 60th anniversary in Paris

Since 1959, Alpha Industries—a historical manufacturer of American outerwear—has been designing pieces inspired by military aesthetics. The emblematic brand has moved beyond its original military influence into international fashion. Celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, Alpha Industries launched a new line called “Six Decades of Alpha Industries” to honor its archives, unveiled during an intimate dinner at the restaurant Chez Julien in the Marais. The brand presented its new models and the campaign designed by the agency Istanbul 74; leaders of creative industries such as photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, dancer Blanca Li, and designer Esteban Cortazar discovered the creations (entrusted to Griffin Studio) in the restaurant’s calm atmosphere. The most iconic piece? The famous N-3B parka, initially created for the U.S. Department of Defense sixty years ago: the best mix of fashion and technology.
