With its second edition, Approche celebrates contemporary photography

It was the need to bring together artists from the worlds of visual arts and photography in a new setting that prompted Emilia Genuardi and Sophie Rivière to create Approche (“a ppr oc he”) in 2017. The first edition, organized on the sideline of Paris Photo, was a great success with both an amateur and professional audience attending the few days of exhibition. With Elsa Janssen joining Emilia Genuardi for this second edition, the independent “salon” is expanding with a greater participation of foreign galleries. In total, fourteen artists represented by twelve galleries present an approach to photography that is both unconventional and unexpected. Among them are Alice Guittard and her sculptural work, the duo Thomas Sauvin and Kensuke Koike, Louis-Cyprien Rials or Maya Rochat. In this salon designed as a group exhibition, each artists presented their unique vision of photography until November 11 at Le Molière.
