ARTSPER and PHILIPS launch a new Prize for Contemporary Art

Artsper, a start-up that makes contemporary art accessible to as many people as possible with more than 7,000 works online on its website and Philips, a player in the health of French people, invited artists from Artsper’s partner galleries to create a work on the theme of the health of the future as part of the”Art & Care” competition and the creation of this new contemporary art prize.

Last Thursday evening, the 34 works selected by Artsper’s committee of experts (including Pierre Cornette de Saint-Cyr, Pascale Cayla and Guillaume Cerruri) were exhibited on the walls of the Palais de Tokyo mezzanine.
Three of them were awarded: The”Coup de coeur du jury” prize went to Jeanne Susplugas for her sculpture”Graal” while the”Jeune Talent du Jury” prize went to Amélie Scotta for her series”Le sang de l’oeil”. Hélène Goddyn receives the Philips-Artsper Prize for her mandala’Mystique’. Three works put up for sale during the evening, to benefit the French Red Cross.
