Celebrating women with Guess

As Paris prepares to enter the men’s fashion week tornado, it is the Woman that Guess house chose to celebrate last night. At the Hotel de Crillon, its founder Paul Marciano invited a handful of friends and journalists to an exceptional dinner in an intimate atmosphere. The opportunity was twofold: first, to reveal the brand’s new campaign with none other than Jennifer Lopez as muse. The evening also gave Paul Marciano the opportunity to reaffirm, during a speech followed with great attention by the guests, Guess’s involvement in the fight against violence against women and prevention against sexual crimes. Perhaps less known to fashionistas who like well-cut jeans, Guess has been working for women for years through the Guess Foundation, particularly on Denim Day and with the Peace Over Violence association. Many women had responded to the invitation, from Emmanuelle Alt to Babeth Djian through our Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere. After all, Paul Marciano is not stranger to the world of beauty contests since his wife is none other than Mareva Georges, Miss Tahiti then Miss France in 1991. In the hotel’s sublime lounges overlooking Place de la Concorde, an evening that mixed fashion and philanthropy, for the happiness of all.
