Atlein and Ludovic de Saint Sernin, winners of the 2018 ANDAM Fashion Awards

Just in time for Haute Couture Week in Paris, ANDAM announced the winners of this 29th edition. A major annual prize that aims at rewarding young designers, it has helped the careers of numerous designers. As usual, fashion industry professionals had responded to Natalie Dufour’s invitation, and met at Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication to reward the winners of this new edition. After a day of interviews with the finalists, the jury, notably composed of Francesca Bellettini (Saint Laurent) Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye (Chloé), Guillaume de Seynes (Hermès), Guillaume Houzé (Galeries Lafayette) or Pamela Goblin (Musée des Arts Décoratifs), finally awarded the Grand Prize to Antonin Tron for his brand Atlein. The young French designer thus won 250,000 euros grant and a sponsorship from Pierre-Yves Roussel (LVMH) to help him develop his brand. Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Stéphanie D’Heygere were also rewarded, they leave respectively with the 2018 Creative Label Prize and the Accessories Prize. We take a look back at the event in presence of 2016 winner Johanna Senyk, Insta-star Fiona Zanetti or designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
