Madelaine Petsch and Charles Melton sit front row at Balmain Fall/Winter 2022-23
A quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry embodied this week’s presentation of Olivier Rousteing’s new collection for Balmain: “it is much more difficult to judge yourself than to judge others”. A collection born of the designer’s experiences with social media in a world that continues to digitalize ou lives. But this Wednesday at the Carreau du Temple in Paris, the collection took much broader proportions to spread a message of hope and unity. A message embodied by technical silhouettes and a contrast of cream tones, symbolic of a desire for transparency and truth. In the front row, the friends of the House were all in attendance, starting with Serena Williams, Neymar, the duo Madelaine Petsch and Charles Melton from ‘Riverdale’, Camille Razat, or Jean Paul Gaultier.
