Besserat de Bellefon launches Cuvée BB 1843
While the initials BB immediately remind us of the icon Brigitte Bardot, they should also make us want to sip a glass of Champagne. A glass, of course of Besserat de Bellefon Champagne : the House presented this week its new Cuvée BB 1843. This date has a special meaning : this is the year the brand was created (and, for the record, the number of bottles available in this limited edition). Far from the stilted atmosphere that could be attributed to Champagne, Besserat de Bellefon invited their friends (such as Amélie Nothomb, Fishbach or Cédric Klapisch) for a moment of pure relaxation at Les Maquereaux. The watchword: the French way of life embodied by the classic “marinière” and a collaboration with the brand Saint James. Between a game of pétanque and a DJ set by NUBIA, everyone tasted this new Cuvée while enjoying the sunset by the Seine – all the while humming Gainsbourg, “Initials BB”… BB for Besserat de Bellefon.
