‘BRUTE’: The Design & Art Society presents a new exhibition
From January 12 to 23, the Design & Art Society (DAS) and the Joyce Gallery present “BRUTE”, an exhibition offering a new reflection on the artwork. Often associated with high quality craftsmanship and luxurious materials, craft objects find here a more raw interpretation, beyond a uniform conception of beauty. The exhibition presents the visions of three different artists united by their approach to the raw material: Claire Cosnefroy, known for her sculptures in stoneware and porcelain, Akim Zerouali and his wooden totems, and Clarisse Tranchard and her experiments with ceramics. Here’s a look back at the opening of the Parisian exhibition with the artists.
