Camille Fournet launches “Équinoxes” cultural program and new Emblem 42.01 bag

Camille Fournet’s commitment to contemporary art is notorious. Acting as a patron, the leather goods brand notably supports the Grand Palais and recently presented the “Artists & Robots” exhibition there. Today, Françoise and Jean-Luc Déchery inaugurate the first edition of their project in support of young contemporary artists. Called “Équinoxes”, this project consists in inviting two artists per year to revisit the house’s codes and to present the results of their dialogue every six months (precisely every 21 March and 21 September). Thus, just before the kick off of Paris Fashion Week, Camille Fournet unveiled their collaboration with artist Maude Maris through an installation at the Rue Cambon boutique. The French artist unveiled a painting encrusted on the boutique’s wall, while Camille Fournet presented their new model, the Emblem 42.01 bag. After soaking up the project in the shop, the guests (Virginie Ledoyen, Suzanne Tarasieve or Nicolas Ouchenir) all crossed the street to meet up at Da Rosa, just a few meters away, for one last drink.
