Cassina crosses the Seine for her 90th birthday
Cassina “Rive droite”. You have read well, the Italian design house located for ten years at 236 boulevard Saint-Germain celebrates its 90th anniversary with the inauguration of a new Parisian address, this time on the other side of the Seine. Located at 129 rue de Turenne, this new showroom was designed by Patricia Urquiola, artistic director since 2015, to invite passers-by to immerse themselves in the Cassina Rive Droite universe, a world of warm colours and a purely Italian identity. The terrazzo path guiding the numerous guests, artists and architects, who came to discover every nook and cranny of this space where one feels terribly well, in the presence of Gianluca Armento, general manager of Cassina France. An opportunity for everyone to experience the “Gender” armchair created by Urquiola, or the many reissues of the masters Le Corbusier, Perriand, Philippe Starck and many others.
