Chantal Crousel celebrates Anri Sala
On the occasion of the opening of an exhibition dedicated to Anri Sala, Chantal Crousel invited professionals and friends to come together this week to celebrate the event. A few blocks from her gallery on Charlot Street, Chantal Crousel had invited her guests to the Jardins du Pont-Neuf for a cocktail party. While Anri Sala presents until 24 November “If and only If”, her exhibition based on the title of a film in which the artist shows the journey of a snail on a violist’s bow, the cocktail was held in the intimate setting of the restaurant floating on the River Seine. Between video installations, sculptures and drawings, Anri Sala presents an immersive exhibition that questions both temporality and language. At the Jardins du Pont-Neuf, many art professionals, collectors and institutions were present: Hans-Ulrich Obrist, Niklas Svennung, Nicolas Trembley… A look back at this cocktail between insiders.
