Kaya Scodelario and Jake Gyllenhaal celebrate the launch of “Clash de Cartier” in Paris
For the international launch of its new collection “Clash de Cartier,” the French jewelry house went big. From April 10-12, it organized exceptional events in honor of its new line (the face of which is Kaya Scodelario). “Clash de Cartier” expresses a duality: dynamic opposites that translate into a collection at once contemporary and timeless, young and full of heritage. For this launch, Cyrille Vigneron—CEO and President of Cartier International—invited guests to enjoy a “very special” gala dinner. The chosen venue, La Conciergerie, hosted a guest-list worthy of the biggest events of Fashion Week (…all the capitals combined). Muse Kaya Scodelario was joined by Jake Gyllenhaal, Tilda Swinton, Claire Foy, Beth Ditto, Troye Sivan, Xavier Dolan, Sofia Coppola, Monica Bellucci, Rami Malek, Golshifteh Farahani, Romain Duris and rising actresses Natalia Dyer (of Stranger Things) and Letitia Wright (of Black Panther). Some created Insta-stories @cartier. While everyone was greeted in emblematic red Cartier, the evening was punctuated by surprises in a cabaret atmosphere. The Empress, Billy Idol and 2 Many DJ’s took over the musical atmosphere, but then Chris (tine and the Queens) took to the stage for an exclusive concert—final fireworks, until extending the festivities the next day on Place Vendôme. #ClashDeCartier
