Diesel w/ The Shoes Party
Who would have thought that a shop could catch fire at 8pm on a Tuesday in the middle of the Etienne Marcel district? The day before last night, the Franco-Italian fever was the cause of the Parisian Diesel flagship store, which literally caught fire in a great moment of communion, ringing in the process the notion of calm and cosy afterwork.
The reason why for this carabinieri happening? The celebration of the new set up of the shopping address, completely redesigned and modernized in a loft spirit conducive to walking. Brushed steel furniture, stylized lighting fixtures, plants under bells, antique parquet flooring: all the elements come together to create a contemporary atmosphere, created by the creative teams in collaboration with the house’s DA, Nicola Formichetti.
To celebrate, SAYWHO and Diesel have concocted an evening with the stripping line-up, starring Karl Planck, Polo & Pan and The Shoes, the most efficient duo of its generation. If the neighbours didn’t say a word, the guests had a field day on the improvised little dance floor between the porters. Party’s good, day’s even better. Review of a shaken cocktail… shaken, not spooned.
