Double anniversary for Christian Lacroix Maison and Evian

Christian Lacroix’s work has become synonymous with dreamlike and creative passion, thanks to an iconographic universe where memories of travels, nimble images of southern beauty and pure know-how telescopent. Insuffering the magic of the Maison de Couture to the world of interior decoration, a bet held for five years by Christian Lacroix Maison who celebrated this anniversary on September 3 in his boutique in Saint-Sulpice.

On this occasion, the very young line of furniture”Maison Lacroix” was unveiled, designed by Sasha Walckoff for Christian Lacroix Maison and published by Roche Bobois. A capsule edition of collectors completes the range and carries the Bagatelle design emblematic of furniture. Stationery, silk cushions and porcelain are adorned with lush vegetation to transform an interior into a fantastic garden where past and present meet.

Touching everything, the couturier created astonishment in 2007, when he was the first designer to sign a water bottle, democratizing his name and launching a decade of collaborations. On the occasion of this double anniversary, Evian and the house have once again joined forces for a limited edition dressed in a delicate lace motif reinterpreting the Paseo motif, inspired by the outfits of toreadors. Used by Mr Lacroix for the wedding dress of his autumn-winter 2002 fashion show, worn on Madonna in front of Steven Klein’s lens on the cover of W, these rich floral garlands sum up all the flamboyance and freshness of a brand that never ceases to make you dream.
