Sitting front row at Esteban Cortazar SS19

“Magic” and “poetic” are two adjectives that perfectly describe Esteban Cortazar’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection. One of the last events of Paris Fashion Week, the show is also every fashion enthusiast’s favorite, in Paris and beyond. The show took place in the beautiful setting of the 6th arrondissement’s École de Médecine. The magic starts backstage where Esteban Cortazar and Tom Pécheux work on preparing the models until the very last minute. Inside, the thick marble walls and the monumental marble staircase contrast with the warmth of the collection, which is embodied by a beautiful, diverse cast of models. Esteban Cortazar’s shows have something of a family reunion and, after a month of running from show to show, you get this feeling of being home, finally. And as always, you’re in good company. Here too, the front row does not disappoint: from Imran Amed (BoF) to Aurélie Bidermann, Sita Abellan, Michelle Elie and Casey Spooner, Esteban Cortazar gathered the creative minds from every field.
