FIAC 2017 inaugurates Oscar Tuazon’s carte blanche

For the sixth consecutive year, FIAC invites an artist to present an in situ project on the prestigious Place Vendôme. This year Oscar Tuazon has created “A Water Column”, a set of four monumental sculptures, representing pipelines pierced by tree trunks in which the public is invited to stroll. The work is made thanks to the artist’s galleries: Chantal Crousel, Eva Presenhuber and Luhring Augustine. While the excitement is on at the Grand Palais for the assembly, the Hôtel d’Evreux hosted, on Monday, the inauguration of the Hors les Murs exhibition at FIAC Place Vendôme, supported by its partner the Mirabaud Group. After a speech by Jennifer Flay, Director of FIAC, Lionel Aeschlimann, Managing Partner of the Mirabaud Group, and Niklas Svennung, Director of the Chantal Crousel Gallery, guests were able to admire the works from the balconies overlooking the square. The first hours of a week rich in art.
