The eighth edition of the Bourse Révélations Emerige has just opened its doors at 16 boulevard Raspail in Paris. After a year marked by the health crisis, this new exhibition highlights the diverse artistic approaches of a new generation of talents. From this idea of plurality came about the exhibition ‘Fireplaces’, which is curated by Gaël Charbau – a “cartography of today’s imagination” as he writes in the exhibition’s notes. Thus, twelve young talents were chosen by the Révélations committee: Laurent Dumas, president of the Emerige Group, Paula Aisemberg, director of artistic projects of the group, Gaël Charbau, exhibition curator, and Benoît Porcher, founder of Semiose gallery, this year’s partner gallery. Initiated by Laurent Dumas in 2014, the Bourse Révélations Emerige has become one of the major artistic events of the year. The program highlights the work of young French artists or artists living in France and offers its winner the opportunity to be represented by a partner gallery and to exhibit a first solo show. ‘Fireplaces’, from October 15 to November 14, 2021.
