First edition of the HYam Award
The international jury of the first edition of the Young Mediterranean Artistic Scene Prize, launched by the founder of HYam (Hydra for Artists of the Mediterranean) Pauline Simons in partnership with the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation, delivered its verdict on July 2 at Artcurial. The laureate Maria Tsagkari received an endowment from Pauline Simons and François Tajan, in the presence of numerous guests from the French, Greek and international art world, members of the jury and the four nominees who had come especially from Greece for the occasion. An endowment to support the artist’s work on the theme of cultural identity.
