Croc stars: In the front row at the Lacoste Fall/Winter 2020-21 show

On the last day of an action-packed Paris Fashion Week, the Tennis Club de Paris was the place to be as the fashion and sports worlds collided to watch Louise Trotter present her autumn-winter 2020-21 collection for Lacoste. This season, the artistic director was inspired by the relationship between René Lacoste and his wife Simone to deliver a new collection paying tribute to the heritage of the house’s timeless blend of sportswear and French elegance. The scenography that awaited the guests (Liya Kebede, Constance Jablonski, actor Paul Wesley, Luka Sabbat and choreographer Leo Walk), created entirely from chipboard panels, is being donated to La Réserve des Arts, an association that recovers used materials to give them a second life. A subtle and important message for sustainable development also embodied by a collection that is definitively at the forefront of modernity.
