While the Villa Noailles invited the press and close friends to discover their new summer exhibitions in Hyères and Toulon this weekend, the Southern stay started by a detour in Porquerolles for a private visit of the Fondation Carmignac. Led by Charles Carmignac and Jean-Pierre Blanc, the guests (Alexandre Benjamin Navet, Sara Favriau, François Halard) all met for an outside lunch in the Villa Carmignac gardens before going inside to discover the Fondation’s new exhibition. The Fondation Carmignac just inaugurated ‘Carmignac Photojournalism Award: 10 Years of Reportage’, which recounts the work of the Award’s former winners with a curation of about 170 photographs. The exhibition is on view until November 1st. Outside its walls, the Fondation Carmignac also presented a Marc Couturier exhibition in the tower of Fort Sainte Agathe, which was renovated by the Parc national de Port-Cros with the Foundation’s support.
