The Retromobile show officially opens its doors today and with it a whole farandole of events dedicated to exceptional old cars, from big auctions to tribute evenings. The Profirst / Ralph Lauren association, the prologue to this week of gleaming festivities, brought together on Monday evening some of these eternal cars and collectors from all over the world in the US company’s Germanopratin flagship store.
On the dinner menu: Mercedes 300 SL from the Paris Motor Show 1954, Ferrari 330 GTC, Aston Martin DB6 Vantage, Jaguar XK120 Roadster or even Porsche 911 2 litres for the hurdle of honour pilots, Vanessa Paradis, actors and collectors for the guests ; high quality Cognac and the sweet notes of a jazz trio to slide on Luxury, calm, engines and pleasure.
