Last Tuesday, the famous British duo Gilbert & George unveiled their new exhibition “There Were Two Young Men” at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. In the show, the artists presented one of their rarest works, the six-part “sculpture-au-fusain-sur-papier,” which has not been on view since 1971. Gilbert & George also participated in a discussion in the Foundation’s auditorium led by art historian Hans Ulrich Obrist, during which they announced—in front of the likes of Bianca Jagger and Pierre Pelegry, as well as a circle of art professionals—the opening of their own foundation in London in 2021.

The exhibition will be open until August 26.
