House of Mimmo2 settles down in Paris

An exhibition like no other. Located in Belleville, in the heart of the 20th arrondissement, House of Mimmo2 is both an artistic residency and a project that supports talents from very different backgrounds, brought together by a common passion for art and all sorts of unexpected ideas. The mastermind behind the project, Italian shoe designer and philanthropist Corrado de Biase, who joined forces with art director and curator Lucas Djaou. Their goal? Stimulate the craziest artistic projects and invite talents to work collectively on an exceptional theme with a triple mission: to share know-how, to create without borders, and to question the established categories between art, craft and design. In short, it’s about marrying art and life through the most baroque objects. For the inaugural evening of House of Mimmo2, last Thursday, Corrado and Lucas gathered their art-loving friends to discover the work of the first three laureate-residents Victor Levai, Yoann Estevenin, and Clément Arnaud. The guests, among whom we spotted Nicolas Maury, Eddy de Pretto, Pol Anglada, Alice Moitié, Pierre Marie and José Levy, dropped by to discover this new Parisian destination, designed by architect Noël Dominguez and decorated for the occasion by LaChaume florist studio. The exhibition will be open to the public until April 24, and applications for the next edition of House of Mimmo2 are accepted until May 10. On your marks…
