Wild Forays: Street Artists Take Over Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature

We will always remember the images we saw during the first confinement: wild animals walk freely in the cities of the world. Wild boars, deer, foxes in Europe, felines in India or bears in China. The same animals are often part of the street artists’ bestiaries, who question in their works environmental issues and our relationship with the wild world. These two observations are the focus of the new exhibition “Wild Forays” at Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, which opened last Monday. Jussi TwoSeven, Andrea Ravo Mattoni, Ruben Carrasco, Nadège Dauvergne, Scaf, Bordalo II, or WAR! – the curators of the Museum have chosen seven street artists to take up quarters in the exhibition halls, creating works that question our cohabitation with a disturbed animal world. An extraordinary artistic exhibition, which makes a nice reference to the time of confinement, when the planet stopped for a few moments and humans made way for wild animals… An exhibition not to miss, open until September 11.
