Ines de la Fressange embodies femininity according to MGallery

It is a long time ago when man had the monopoly of the business trip, the hand put on all kinds of trips when the only luxury of madame was to stay at home with the children – or to travel exclusively alongside monsieur. Did you know that two out of three women travel alone for business? According to a recent IPSOS study conducted at the initiative of MGallery, 80% of them have no problem with this. However, few are the establishments which seek to answer the desires of my ladies. Well aware of this societal change, MGallery by Sofitel (Accor group) boutique hotels have decided since 2013 to honour women customers with a collection of services called “Inspired by her”, from slippers at last in their size to a range of tailor-made wellness treatments. Today, MGallery unveils her new ambassador, incarnation of French femininity, Parisian at heart and explorer of the world. As you will have understood, this is Ines de la Fressange. This week at the Hôtel de L’Échiquier in the 10th arrondissement, she inaugurated this collaboration during a 100% female event. For the occasion, guests could discover a typical room, with its petal bathtub, its canopy bed decorated with flowers and its interior fragrance – as well as two beauty corners by partners Kure Bazaar and Clarins. After a speech by Jean Christophe Gras, Director of Luxury Operations France, and Agnès Roquefort, Director of the MGallery brand, Ines de la Fressange took part in a question-and-answer session. Without going into feminist demands, she nevertheless sums up the approach well: “when women intervene, it is always a good idea”.
