Juliette Binoche receives the 2017 Caron Woman of the Year Award
On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the second edition of the Chinese Business Club’s “Special Women’s Breakfast” was held at the Pavillon Potel & Chabot, place Vendôme. A real platform for exchange between China and France founded in 2012 by Harold Parisot, the Chinese Business Club brings together political and economic players wishing to enrich their French-Chinese network. Juliette Binoche was honoured at this luncheon attended by regulars such as Laurent Dassault and Ulysse Gosset. She was awarded the 2017 Prix de la Femme in partnership with Caron, represented by Romain and Yann Alès. The actress’s passion for Chinese culture is not unknown: she was seen in “Le Voyage du ballon rouge”, Hou Hsiao-Hsien’s first Western film, and she even took on the role of godmother of the Paris Chinese Film Festival in 2010. Among the guests this March 8, the artist painter Caroline Faindt or actress become business manager Marie-Sophie L. The first edition of the lunch honoured actress Sophie Marceau.
