L’ Instance de la lettre se met à table à la Galerie Marguerite Milin
The Forum de la lettre, a new exhibition at the Galerie Marguerite Milin, brings together the works of three artists who have made writing an integral part of their practice. Exemplifying the words of Jacques Lacan to whom the title of the exhibition is borrowed, Marc Molk, Chéri Samba and Kimiko Yoshida all put words at the heart of their images, and combine “the weight of words, the shock of photos”, painting or drawing, to quote the slogan of Paris Match magazine.To celebrate this improbable and happy marriage of visual and textual, and these three artistic expressions around a Lacanian reflection, the Gallery organized with the support of the very connected Cécile Togni: the artists were of course present, the musical atmosphere was assured by the excellent Alexandre Saada.
