The Villa Noailles unveils the 37th Hyères Festival’s jury and finalists

The Villa Noailles just announced the jury and finalists of the upcoming Hyères Festival’s 37th edition. Jean-Pierre Blanc and Pascale Mussard invited their guests to Le 19M – the new venue gathering all of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art – for the big reveal. Following the success of his haute couture collection for Jean Paul Gaultier, Glenn Martens (the artistic director of Y/Project and Diesel) was revealed as president of the fashion jury. Pierre Debusschere chairs the photography jury, while Aska Yamashita, artistic director of the Atelier Montex (part of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art) presides over the accessories jury. This 37th edition comes with its share of new features, including a mentoring program offered by Instagram, a grant from Bottega Veneta for the photography finalists and a new prize: the L’Atelier des Matières Prize, a new partner of the Festival, which will reward one of the ten fashion finalists asked to design a look using waste material. The event at Le 19M was punctuated by the traditional speeches by Jean-Pierre Blanc and Pascale Mussard, and followed by a concert by Lala &Ce and a DJ set by Jean Biche. The 37th Hyères Festival will take place at the Villa Noailles from October 13 to 16, 2022.
