Lauren Bastide and Julien Neuville whistle half-time crowdfunding action with Kiss Kiss Bank Bank

Maison du Crowdfunding

Lauren Bastide’s “La Poudre” and Selim Allal’s “Banquette” (the former giving a voice to women from all walks of life and the latter celebrating football) were already well received, proving that the podcast had nothing to be ashamed of from their radio counterparts. Mieux, Nouvelles Écoutes, the independent podcast studio founded by journalist Lauren Bastide and Julien Neuville, could welcome four newborns this year, thanks to the generosity and involvement of their listeners. So this week the whole team celebrated the half-time of their participatory financing action with Kiss Kiss Bank Bank, in the brand new Maison du Crowdfunding in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The opportunity to make noise around this rising medium that is podcast, bring together press professionals like Géraldine Dormoy, journalist at L’Express, who were able to participate in round tables moderated by Melanie Wanga, creator of the podcast “Noir is the new black”. An evening of encounters and discoveries that makes the ears feel good.
