“Planet B. Climate Change and the New Sublime”: the Radicants project launches in Venice

This is a first for Radicants, the new artistic and cooperative project that Nicolas Bourriaud has just launched with Cyrille Troubetzkoy, Barbara Lagié and Kuralai Abdukhalikova. Their goal? The production of cutting-edge exhibitions, the sale of works, art consulting and publishing, developed in collaboration with the studio M/M Paris. The first chapter “Planet B. Climate Change and the New Sublime”, evokes the impact of climate change on our world and updates the notion of the sublime, developed in the 18th century by Edmund Burke, between pleasure and terror. This unusual artistic project brings together works by twenty-eight artists, including Bianca Bondi, Dana-Fiona Armour, Peter Buggenhout, Charles Avery and Ambera Wellmann. It was presented in Venice at Palazzo Bolani during the 59th Biennale of Contemporary Art. This exhibition, divided into three parts, is accompanied by the book of the same name signed by Nicolas Bourriaud, and will be open to the public until November 27. Discover our gallery and relive best moments from the opening night.
