Lee Ufan invites himself to the Donjon de Vez w/ Artcurial
After Philippe Hiquily last summer, it is the turn of the Korean artist Lee Ufan to invest the gardens of the Donjon de Vez, in Oise, a historical monument and an essential place of French heritage.
Until September 14, in a green and generous nature,”Relatum X” is exposed at the entrance of the park. This refined sculpture of stone and steel (one of the artist’s most recent works), previously exhibited in the gardens of the Château de Versailles, is compared to the medieval architecture of this building steeped in history. The event, in which Artcurial is a partner, invites visitors to discover the world of an artist with a formal and falsely simplistic vocabulary, whose sculptures are like a dialogue between being and time.
