HEAD students march by
The Haute Ecole d’ Arts et de Design de Genève organized its annual fashion show on Friday 18 November, an event that is all the more eagerly awaited as the school celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Faithful to his reputation as a talent finder and promoter, Jean-Pierre Blanc brought his’ influential fashion’ patrol from Paris including Hugo Matha, Nicolas Ouchenir, and his lifelong friend Sophie Fontanel. 25 collections on the program – from Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees – as well as a selection of various accessory and jewelry projects in a showroom space. At the end of the evening’s two parades, two prizes were awarded by an independent international jury chaired by Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Lacoste’s artistic director: Dan Dwir was awarded the HEAD Bachelor Bongenie Award with 5000 Swiss Francs and Vanessa Schindler the HEAD Master Mercedes-Benz Award with 10,000 Swiss Francs. An unmissable event that brought together more than 2000 people at the Espace Hippomène.
