Louis Vuitton Cocktail x AD Interiors 2012

When such a remarkable exhibition is offered in Paris, the inviting institution must take advantage of it. And this is precisely what AD magazine has done, by organizing several first-rate happenings in the continuity of the customary and indestructible vernissage. From then on, a few chic dinners will punctuate the 2012 edition of “Intérieurs, voyages imaginaires”, and bring joy to the splendid ephemeral pieces imagined by some of the greatest French decorators. Let’s first remember a part of this list to make the contemporary rooms of the Musée des Arts Déco pale: Vincent Darré, Jean-Louis Deniot, Charles Zana, Thierry Lemaire for the Sofitel Lounge, Chahan Minassian, or Joseph Dirand for Louis Vuitton.

This same big house, which last Friday, organized alongside the magazine a private tour for the crème gratinée of design, fashion and the arts. Yves Carcelle and Xavier Romatet, respectively CEO of Louis Vuitton and Editions Conde Nast, welcomed the leading French decorators to the venerable walls of Artcurial, including India Madhavi, US heir Lee Radziwill (younger sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, ed.), BHL and Arielle Dombasle (?), Ines de la Fressange, Pierre Bergé, François Sarkozy, Hervé Van der Straeten, and many others. Definitely THE social event of the week of September 10th. B.B.
