In 2017, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. His collaboration with galerie kreo dates back to the same year it opened, back in 1999. Since then, Marc Newson has presented three major exhibitions at the gallery during the 2000s. Today, the designer of the emblematic Carbon Ladder is back at 31, rue Dauphine with Quobus, a new collection of shelves conceived as modules of different sizes and colors part of a construction game creating infinite possibilities. Here’s a look back at the opening in the presence of the designer and major figures of contemporary design such as Erwan Bouroullec, Jerszy Seymour or Yorgo Tloupas.
