Technology has never been as much a part of our lives as it is today. An essential part of our travel, entertainment and consumption patterns and the lifeblood of the fashion industry, it is also a constant source of inspiration for the contemporary art sector. Mazarine has taken this technological evolution and its overlap with creative innovation and turned it into a new exhibition at the Studio des Acacias on the sidelines of FIAC week. With “TakeOver”, Mazarine has created an astonishing dialogue between art and technology and creates a real tour de force of innovation complete with immersive works and experiences. It’s PLAY installation features  a huge LED display with a Kinect device that captures up to six silhouettes simultaneously. Plus, exclusively for “TakeOver”, PAINT is offering the “Weird Type” experience, an augmented reality application designed by the artist Zach Lieberman. The exhibition also offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of the international Random collective, or to rediscover yourself through Snapchat filters specially developed for the exhibition. It was also an opportunity to rediscover the coverage of Art Number #5, photographed by Tim Richardson, thanks to Snapchat’s “Target Tracking” augmented reality function. A look back at the opening of the exhibition with photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino, stylist Camille Miceli, and a DJ set by Jean Janin.
