Nasty Gal has been an emblem of contemporary fashion for over ten years. The brand, founded in California in 2006, originally offered second-hand and vintage clothes reworked into unique pieces. (..Some may already know this story thanks to the Netflix series “Girlboss.”) This approach eventually led to the creation of original collections, and the brand has since been taken over by the retailer Boohoo in 2016. Nasty Gal landed in France last April, hitting the ground running with a capsule collection in collaboration with Emily Ratajkowski. Recently, the brand invited fans (such as Flora Coquerel, Joanne Palmaro and Laura Isaaz) to its new Parisian showroom to check out the collaboration with @emrata as well as the collection by cool Parisienne Lena Simonne—whose feature ad can be spotted in just about every metro station citywide. On the agenda at the showroom: astrology sessions, bead workshops and preparations for orders on nastygal.com
