Nicolas Ouchenir on your plates with Maison Fragile

What is beautiful is fragile. What is fragile is precious. This is the motto of Maison Fragile, the new publishing house for tableware. Its founder Mary Castel – great-granddaughter of a porcelain artisan – understood that dinners could not do without a chic and innovative service. She presented her first Made in France collection on Wednesday evening at the Maison du Crowdfunding – the culmination of a beautiful project made possible thanks to participatory financing with the support of KissKissBankBank. For this first collection, Mary Castel gave carte blanche to seven artists from the French Touch” around a theme: “Rue de Paradis”. Among them, the illustrators Vainui de Castelbajac and Safia Ouares, or Nicolas Ouchenir who stylized the words of “Paradis”, Alexia Gredy’s song, on her porcelain plate produced by a Limoges factory. A bright future for tableware.
