Yesterday in Cannes, it was all about one legend of the film industry: Lars Von Trier. The iconic film director was back on the Croisette with his out-of-competition feature film, “The House that Jack built”. Once again proving to be as polarizing as provocative, Von Trier was to be seen in the evening at Club by Albane with part of his cast. Like his lead actor the American Matt Dillon, who felt quite at home in the club’s very confidential atmosphere. That evening, it was Maestro Alexander Eghikian took on the challenge to delight everyone’s ears with his now famous “piano jukebox”. Among those who let themselves be carried away by the artist’s divine notes, it was impossible to miss Camélia Jordana and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart (perhaps still on Cloud 9 after their César win), as well as Ariane Ascaride, Clémence Poesy, Clovis Cornillac or model turned actress Aymeline Valade. Here’s a review of this very private evening.
