Opening Cointreau Privé
Paris 2e27.02.2012 #fashion
Somewhere between the Opera and Place Vendôme is hidden a speakeasy imagined by Alexis Mabille, out of time, where cocktails flow and where people crowd. The Cointreau Privé has just opened its doors. For two months, the cozy alcoves of the ephemeral club will receive happy fews, djs, and parties of all kinds. A retro setting where you could have met Al Capone or Josephine Baker. But it was Joey Starr, Giuseppe Zanotti and a compact crowd of hipsters who swayed to the sounds of Florinda Harvey. Did you say prohibition?
