Opening of the exhibition “La victoire du temps” (The victory of time)
The Red Star Football Club, founded in Paris in 1897, and its mythical Bauer Stadium in St Ouen are no longer presented. In the stands, its supporters make it a popular, committed and bubbling bastion. Once again this year, adidas continues its association with the Club de Ligue 2, far from the petrodollars and the star system, but with an unequalled historical power and a great popular base.
During a whole season – which will have led the team to the title of National Champion 2015 – the duo of photographers Julien + Adrien, supported and produced by Joana Haddad in their project, has rubbed shoulders with the life of the club, its players, its staff and its fans, cameras in hand. The result today is’La victoire du temps’, an astonishing exhibition at the Joseph Gallery that plunges the visitor into an interactive universe composed of fan songs, ball hits, orders from the coach and, of course, a series of photographs.
