Opening of the exhibition “Preview”, by Eugène Riconneaus
There were two reasons to hurry to the stable gallery last night: 1/”PREVIEW”, Eugène Riconneaus’s new exhibition supported by Nixon, was varnished there and grand 2/ the collaboration between the brand and the designer was unveiled, who imagined a watch called”The E.R.”. x Nixon Time Teller”” published in 100 copies with E.R. Soulers de skate (the skateboard shoe brand founded last year by the French designer).
Paying homage to his passion for snow sports, Eugène affixes his signature to the mythical one as well as materials never before tested at Nixon : an original”sandblasted” stainless steel case and a dial back decorated with a photo taken by the designer himself (from a collection of shots taken at the Palais de Tokyo for 6 years). Result? A collector’s watch to get now on nixon.com and a selection of shops in France.
