Opening shop Jim Thompson
An air of Thailand reigned in the heart of St Germain des Prés, rue de Furstemberg, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Jim Thompson boutique designed by Douglas Little.
Thai luxury silk, exclusively distributed by Pierre Frey in France, Jim Thompson opened the doors of his first Parisian boutique and welcomed for the occasion some 300 guests from the world of fashion, decoration and architecture.
Orchestrated by the Black Lemon agency, the evening was Asian with an original creation of ginger or citronella macaroons that were enjoyed in the red intimacy of the lights caressing the walls of Parisian buildings.
Happy to pass through the drops, the guests were able to enjoy a sweet sparkling summer evening in scrolls of amber incense… A nice start for the Thai silk emperor… in Paris!
