Picasso destination with Paris Airport, Artcurial Culture and the Picasso Museum

For travellers passing through Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, why not take a cultural break and discover the Picasso Plein Soleil exhibition, inaugurated this Thursday 26 January at the Espace Musée (Terminal 2E, hall M)? The only airport in the world to have an original museum, the Paris air hub inaugurated in 2012 this space which, drawing on Artcurial’s expertise, has already hosted exhibitions of porcelain from Sèvres, Rodin and Dubuffet. Until 15 June 2017, millions of travellers travelling to Asia, Africa or the Americas will be able to discover this exhibition of ceramics, paintings and sculptures free of charge in collaboration with the Picasso National Museum in Paris. Selected by curator Emilie Bouvard, also curator at the Picasso Museum, the 35 works presented at the Espace Musée are the work of Pablo Picasso after his installation on the Côte d’Azur in 1948. A journey into an extraordinary imagination, they offer an irresistible dive into the artist’s roots and prefigure a wider series of projects around the Mediterranean that was so dear to him. Immediate boarding in pictures.
