Born in Sapporo, capital of the Hokkaido region in Japan, Motofumi Kogi, alias Poggy, began his career as a salesman in the Shibuya flagship of the United Arrow brand. Poggy quickly arrived at the store management, and changed it into a concept store, which he renamed United Arrows and Sons. The idea? Offer pieces influenced by street culture and which will be passed on from generation to generation. Since then, United Arrows and Sons has collaborated with big names such as adidas, Dr. Martens, or Converse. A boldness that has ensured his spot in the Hypebeast 100 ranking. But Poggy is also his own brand, POGGYTHEMAN, with 121k followers on Instagram. On the occasion of Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the designer was honored at a private dinner at Le Froufrou for the launch of his new capsule collection, Poggy’s Box. The collection is the first to join Tomorrow Consulting’s new project: an incubator aimed at promoting Japanese brands with high potential. In charge of the project, none other than Daisuke Gemma, artistic director of Sacai. This will give a spotlight to Japanese creators, with a series of collaborations to come…
