Presentation collection Pimp my Shoe by Gaelle Constantini

Pimp my Shoes is Gaëlle Constantini’s funny project, which goes to war against the gloom of our cloned Parisian feet. Tired of uniformization, the immaculate Stan Smith and other inverted stitch derbies? In two clips, these small jewels for shoes finely thought will give a look couture to the curve of your calves. A logical continuity for this recycling pro, who never stops making new with old, beautiful with (almost) ugly, all via the workshop that bears her name since 2009.

To think about this project, the designer surrounded herself with her favourite band of artists: When Noémi Ferst plays the naked muses walking in the dark corridors of a hotel, André imagines the visual identity and draws the logo. Unveiled the evening of the presentation in the concept store “Chez moi, Paris”, the campaign film is signed Jimmy Mettier. Never far from his beautiful, Kavinsky was obviously part of the party, just like Ora Ito, loyal friend of JB, founder of the store on Herold Street. A whole story of connections, united for a manifesto: “Stop naked shoes”! B.B.
