Presentation of the final works of the school of the Chambre Syndicale

It is a well-known event in the Parisian fashion industry: every year in June, the final year students of the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne present their creations, whether they are stylists with three silhouettes and a canvas, or model makers with five clothes made from a reference image.

Independent designer Lutz Huelle was chosen this year to represent the promotion, bringing together 18 students from all over the world:”The exercise here was to direct them according to simple games: for modelers, an image as a vehicle of inspiration and a panel of colours drawn at random; for designers, the freedom to create clothes from a personal universe”.

An achievement for these students, freed from a demanding four-year technical and artistic training, and who will perhaps succeed the illustrious former students trained at the fashion school, from Yves Saint Laurent to Karl Lagerfeld, via Valentino or Issey Miyake.
