There was a California air hovering over Paris this week. To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of his restaurant “Manresa”, Californian chef David Kinch invested the kitchens of the Relais & Châteaux Le Taillevent in duet with his chef Alain Solivérès. On the menu, an innovative cuisine. David Kinch appreciates France where he started and whose cuisine inspires him. The event at Taillevent inaugurates three meetings organised with the three-star chef. He will reproduce the experience on October 4 in Provence at the Oustau de Baumanière and on October 6 in Marseille at the Petit Nice. The Parisian evening took place in the spirit of the Californian dream (“California Dreamin'”), notably in the presence of the chef Yannick Alléno, with a decor inspired by Californian beaches and, beautiful surprise, a pink cadillac of 1958 waiting for the guests at the entrance.
